In an effort to keep the community informed the Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidates forum at Victor’s Chateau May 1rst

The Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce their 2013 scholarship awards campaign.
The application process is open to Cedar Grove residents graduating from any high school in 2013 and pursuing continuing education. The scholarship awards demonstrate the Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce support of the power of education for all students and the positive effect that education has on the community as a whole. Based on the results of the Cedar Grove Chamber Foundation, Inc. 50/50 raffle, it is anticipated that scholarship awards with a grand total of $10,000.00 will be offered in the areas of arts, academics, business, media and vocational education to students with a strong commitment to the Cedar Grove community. By supporting outstanding students today, and acknowledging the teachers, administrators and schools that inspire their excellence, the Chamber will help students nurture the quest for higher learning.

Attached is the Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. Exclusive Sponsorship Commitment Fund Raising Campaign flyer. We want you to be aware that our group is partnering with the Cedar Grove Chamber with this exceptional project. All of Cedar Grove is banning together to assist the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad in the quest for a new vehicle. The squad is always there for all of us, now it is time for all of us to be there for them. The cost of the fully equipped vehicle is $210,000.00. It is an overwhelming amount for the squad to fund raise on their own; but with all of Cedar Grove committing to the task, we will succeed.
This is a call for Sponsorship on the Diamond, Platinum or Gold Level. The scheduled event proves to be a spectacular happening here in our Cedar Grove. The venue is The Grove and the entertainment will be The Amazing Kreskin and the Blue Moon Review 50’s and 60’s Doo Wop Group. Set the date on your calendar, Saturday, February 16, 2013 and find it in your heart to commit to a Sponsorship for either yourself or your company. Sponsorship will not only provide you with complementary tickets to celebrate with the entire town but also acknowledgement in both the print and video journals.

Presidents Message
Is the economy turning around? Hard to say, especially looking at the vacant stores and buildings in Cedar Grove.
Some would say this town has a reputation as a difficult place to run a business. Maybe it’s time for that to change.
As the new President of the Rejuvenated Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce, I can tell you that the response to the Chamber restarting has been overwhelming. Business owners are ready for an organization with their best interests at heart.
And we, the officers of the Chamber are ready and willing to get the ball rolling. Our goal is to work toward growth and sustainability in our business community.
We will work with the Mayor and Council, as well as our Town Manager, to do what is necessary to promote new businesses to move into town, as well as growing existing businesses. We will be the voice when once is needed to better our community.
Look for fun and interesting programs and promotions in the near future which will unite residents with the business community, all in the interest of building a stronger Cedar Grove.
